Mann Ki Baat: Recognizing Uttarakhand’s Achievements and National Progress
March 26, 2025In a monumental effort to support farmers across the country, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi transferred more than ₹22,000 crore to the bank accounts of 9.80 crore eligible farmers as the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. This initiative continues to be a cornerstone in empowering India’s agricultural community and ensuring financial stability for small and marginal farmers.
Participating virtually from Dehradun, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami joined farmers of Uttarakhand in witnessing this historic transfer. In Uttarakhand alone, ₹181.10 crore was credited to the accounts of 8,21,097 farmer beneficiaries, strengthening their financial security and supporting agricultural growth in the state.
On this occasion, farm machinery and equipment were distributed to women’s self-help groups, further enhancing their role in modernized farming practices. The PM Kisan scheme has been instrumental in uplifting small and border-area farmers, providing them with essential resources and financial aid to improve their livelihoods.
Heartfelt gratitude was extended to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his continued commitment to empowering farmers. His visionary leadership has not only provided financial assistance but has also ensured that India’s food providers receive the respect and support they deserve. The PM Kisan initiative stands as a beacon of hope, paving the way for self-sufficiency and prosperity in the agricultural sector.
